Bundesliga most wanted striker Erling Haaland Reveals He Is Unhappy At Dortmund as Man Utd Close In.
Fabrizio Romano said Erling Haaland had an interview and he could decide his next move in the coming weeks, but it¡s not easy for him as the most important thing in his career is his future; Borussia Dortmund are putting pressure on him to make a decision.
Dortmund are saying that “we want to get Haaland replacement in time”. Starting to pursue in summer is too late. We want to do now but don’t want to offend you.
I understand Dortmund wanting an answer now so they can start planning, I do understand from their perspective. But what is happening to them is, they are following the media reports and panicking. They should also understand from Haaland’s perspective, and he HAS a contract to play currently and the release clause is NOT activated until summer, so he can play all he wants and not decide until then. I am on the side of the player, he should be free to make his decision in the summer. What Dortmund and any club should always do, is always make plans, don’t let what happened to Barça happen when Neymar left unexpectedly.
I mean Dortmund are not forcing Haaland to leave in January, they just want to know if he stays or leaves in the summer. It’s a Simple yes or no question, so they can plan for a replacement.
BVB are right to plan ahead for the next season but Erling’s motive to decide later is what’s best for him as all the other clubs have clearer positions on where they stand financially. Not sure what they’ll do in this case and how it will be settled but as a fan I do hope he stays in Dortmund another year and (one can dream) play at Man Utd eventually or another English club where he can thrive.
Haaland moving to Real Madrid or Barca also would make a lot of sense. A step up in competition to develop in one of the biggest clubs in the world. Big money, great squad, almost guaranteed trophies. He could Then move to Premier League in a few years and play for United. Considering his strategy so far, that’s a move i could see happening. Man City is another pick, but it’s also a much bigger step. Being part of Guardiola’s City right now must be incredibly tempting though.
Most overHyped players from Bundesliga never lived up to their expectations….only debruyne and Aubameyang did well in the EPL. Jadon Sancho is in trouble at Manchester United.

Sancho should go somewhere else. He was absolutely fantastic in BVB and I am sure the kid is world class talent in the same league as Foden and Saka. And it was not like he needed to be on a great team or a specific system to work. BVB struggled a lot with consistency the time he was there.
